The Dailies

​

Athens, Greece, February 4-8th 2026

The workshop days will be split between the instructors and participants reviewing material that we shoot in Athens as well as individual meetings with the instructors to look over existing work. Our aim is to encourage work on the ground while also providing feedback for work in progress. We will also spend time talking through the instructor’s process and make general Q&A a part of our time together.

Groups will present their work to be published online as dailies. Dailies are a newspaper term for a newspaper published every day and, in this case, we will broadcast our efforts via American Suburb X at the end of each working day.  There are no rules to what you the content is, so long as it may be captioned and thought of as an indexical experiment. Text will also be included, and participants should be prepared to write notes, however lucid or lyrical, and have them available for inclusion in the daily publishing of the material.

Participants may shoot analog but should also have a means to produce digital during the workshop for this experience as we will need digital files to upload at the end of each working day. Phone images will suffice.
